Cobra Golf game has today introduced its fourth generation of its Rex Forged Tec irons that will hit retail on April 29, 2022.

The irons feature three significant improvements, including a five-stride forged body and face, a sleeker topline with reduced commencement, and a lighter and softer foam in design for improved sound and experience.

The new editions deport over a hollow body blueprint with tungsten weighting and PwrShell technology that together bid to provide enhanced distance with improved stability in a more compact shape.

The 2022 irons debut a third model to the family unit with the Forged Tec X, which is designed to offer more than forgiveness in a players' game-comeback shape.

Forged Tec and Tec One Length irons

These irons fall into the "role player's distance" category and are designed for meliorate players in the low to mid handicap range.

The Tec irons reveal a thinner topline and reduced offset to create a preferred players await at accost. A hollow torso design is filled with a lighter and softer foam fabric to promote more altitude while maintaining great audio, feel and feedback.

Each iron in the set features a forged PwrShell Face in design to create maximum speed and high launch. A 20g tungsten toe weight centers the CG behind the sweet spot for pure feeling ball strikes with added stability on off-center hits. The Forged TEC 1 Length irons are configured with a constant, seven-iron length setup.

The Forged Tec X

The new improver from Cobra is the Forged Tec's more forgiving counterpart that is designed for mid to higher handicaps and paves the mode for a new category of thespian's "game-improvement" irons.

The fe features a lower CG design, lower profile, a slightly thicker topline, and stronger lofts than the Forged Tec irons.

The Tec X also features a hollow trunk and foam insert but utilizes a massive 65g tungsten weight (45g more than than Tec) to lower CG in design to maximize stability for higher launch despite the stronger lofts.

The Forged Tec variable length irons toll $1,199 (steel) and $one,299 (graphite) and are available in a 7-piece (four-Prisoner of war) set in right hand (left-hand bachelor through custom).

The Forged Tec One Length irons cost $one,199 (steel) and $1,299 (graphite) and are available in a 7- piece (5-PW) fix in stiff and regular, in right hand (LH and graphite options are bachelor through custom).

The Forged Tec X irons price $1,199 (steel) and $1,299 (graphite) and come stock in a 7-piece (four-Pw and 5-GW) set in stiff and Reg in RH (LH bachelor through custom) in both steel and graphite options.

PXG introduces new Gen5 drivers, fairway wood and hybrids

Published

on

PXG has today introduced its new Gen5 family of woods and hybrids that characteristic an increased moment of inertia (MOI), faster ball speeds, longer distances, and tighter dispersion, co-ordinate to the company.

The new drivers, fairway forest, and hybrids all contain a Full Aluminum Vapor (AV) Carbon Fiber Crown, an Internal Supported Weight Structure, Precision Weighting Technology, and Robotic Polishing.

The lightweight crown, made entirely from high-class carbon cobweb, is designed to help save critical mass, while the AV Engineering stiffens the structure and reduces energy loss.

The Supported Weight Structure is designed to dampen harsh vibrations at bear on while producing higher modal frequencies to deliver a dynamic feel and gratifying sound.

Precision Weighting Technology pushes mass to the extreme perimeter to drastically increase MOI, while Robotic Polishing, a high-precision process, aims to ensure the bulge and curl radii are held to the tightest tolerances to produce platonic brawl flight even on off-eye hits.

PXG 0311 Drivers

Unique to the Gen5 commuter is a High-Speed Ti412 Face and Variable Confront Blueprint. The titanium alloy face material has an uncommonly high yield strength and a low elastic modulus that is designed to generate significant face deflection resulting in ultra-fast ball speeds.

The variable thickness confront features internal topographic geometries that bid to help reduce mass and enhance ball speeds while also increasing durability.

The new drivers are available in ii models:

The standard PXG 0311 Gen5 driver presents a comfortable, traditional head shape, alpine, deep confront, and depression-spin design to deliver maximum ball speed and altitude.

The PXG 0311 XF Gen5 driver offers a confidence-inspiring head shape, a larger face up that expands the hitting zone, and a mid-spin pattern for added forgiveness.

PXG 0311 Fairways & Hybrids

The Gen5 fairways and hybrids are fabricated from a loftier-strength AM355 steel body cloth in a bid to create a high-performance head design with platonic launch and spin characteristics.

The torso fabric is coupled with an HT1770 stainless steel high-speed, squared face that is designed to promote maximum ball speeds.

Both the Gen5 fairways and GEN5 hybrids are available in ii distinct models:

Standard PXG 0311 Gen5 fairways and PXG 0311 Gen5 hybrids feature a low-spin head with a comfortable shape at accost. A flat sole design keeps mass low and pushes weight to the perimeter in design for increased forgiveness.

Generating an incredibly high MOI, the PXG 0311 XF Gen5 fairways and 0311 XF Gen5 hybrids offering mid-spin options to evangelize a confidence-inspiring head shape. A Railed Sole Geometry is paired with a forgiveness-enhancing apartment sole design in a bid to offering improved turf interaction, especially for those with a steep angle of attack.

Both the fairways and hybrids are priced at $379 each, while the drivers cost $499 each .
